Hi, I am Mai Tran. I am orginally from Vietnam. I came to Norway 15 years ago to do my PhD in computer science at University of Oslo. In 2023, I was named one of the top 50 women in Tech by Abelia. My journey would have not been possible without the help and guidance from my mentors. But it is not the case for many of people who have moved to Norway including many of my friends.
Many international job seekers in Norway who have high education, vast experiences and qualifications from their home countries, find themselves trapped behind language barriers, alien networking cultures, and unrecognised qualifications. The cost? It isn't just jobs, but peace of mind, economic stability, and the essence of well-being.
I believe NO ONE should have to experience what they have been through and I believe EVERYONE should be given the same experience and opportunities that I have. Thus InterBe was born.
